Jack Daniel's is a brand of Tennessee whiskey. It is one of the top-selling American whiskey brands worldwide, and the oldest registered distillery in the United States. The company markets its product to three primary audiences: 1) Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 and other products for the domestic market; 2) Gentleman Jack and other products for the international market; 3) Jack Daniel's Single Barrel for premium export markets.

The distillery, which sits along a creek in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is now owned by Brown-Forman Corporation. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is the number one selling distilled spirit in the world and is made from 100% corn and rye mash.

It is the best-selling American whiskey in the world. The brand was founded by Jack Daniel in 1866 in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It is currently owned by Jack Daniel Distillery Company, which is based in Lynchburg.

Jack Daniel's whiskey is made from a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley. The distillery uses water from its own well for making the mash. The company also owns about 900 acres of farmland in Lynchburg and surrounding areas to supply some of the ingredients needed for making Jack Daniel's whiskey. The distillery has been in continuous operation since 1866 when it began as a one-room operation run by Jack Daniel himself. Today it has the capacity to produce 5 million cases per year but only makes about 4 million cases per year due to capacity constraints at the distillery
